Dr. Chris B. Kennedy is an enterprise operating and growth executive and Managing Director of Strategic Technology & AI at Regions Bank, where he leads AI strategy and value creation across Corporate Banking, Wealth, Payments, and enterprise functions. His career spans AI and model-risk governance, payments modernization, large-scale technology and product platforms, operating-model transformation, and quantitative finance. Previously, he led Enterprise Payments technology and operations supporting more than $3.7 trillion in annual payment volume.

A CFA charterholder and faculty member at Duke University and UNC Kenan-Flagler, Chris brings a distinctive combination of executive operating experience, applied AI expertise, and financial-services depth. He speaks internationally on AI, payments, open banking, and transformation, including at Money20/20 and American Banker events. He holds a PhD and an MBA.
