David Normandin CLFP is an industry veteran that currently is the President and CEO of Wintrust Specialty Finance. Over his near 30-year career in the equipment leasing industry, Normandin has founded bank and independent leasing companies that have been featured in the Monitor 100 and Bank 50. He was recently named 2025 Industry Icon for industry advocacy and was the 2024 Current Leader Icon Award recipient is a Certified Leasing and Finance Professional and has served as President of the CLFP Foundation, Treasurer and Board Member of the NEFA, Past Business Counsel Steering Committee Chair for the small-ticket sector of the ELFA, ELFA Board Member and currently serves on the Equipment Lease and Finance Foundation as a trustee and chairs the ELFF research committee. Normandin has Six Sigma Certification, Richardson Sales Coaching Certification and has a long track record of success in building highly productive teams. Normandin resides between Monarch Beach California and Lighthouse Point Florida and enjoys sailing, skiing and scuba diving.
