Chief credit and lending officer at Kitsap CU to speak at FinAi Lending Summit
Jason Pendergist, chief credit and lending officer at Kitsap Credit Union, will speak at the FinAi Lending Summit on Thursday, Oct. 8.
The summit, set for Oct. 7-8 at Caesars Palace Las Vegas, brings together executives, technology experts and decision-makers across the FinAi lending ecosystem.

Pendergist took on the role at the Bremerton, Wash.-based credit union in June 2025. Prior to Kitsap Credit Union, he was chief lending officer and chief marketing officer at Manhattan Beach, Calif.-based Kinecta Federal Credit Union. He also serves as an advisory board member for Enable Technologies and Zest AI.
At the summit, Pendergist will speak in the session “Capacity unlock: Handling credit demand spikes with AI-based ops tools” at 11 a.m. local time.
Pendergist and Chris Kennedy, managing director of strategy technology and AI at Regions Bank, will discuss:
- Modulating loans per employee with AI;
- The deployment of AI-driven assistants and agents; and
- Avoiding the addition of fixed costs.
